After Injury…it continues

After the wound heals, scars are most difficult part to be removed. They somehow don’t vanish and makes the injured part very prominent. Those scars are known as keloid scars which are pinkish purplish in colour and forms a heap over the skin, a bit high than rest of the skin surface having a smooth top. However it is different from hypertrophic scar. No one would wish for such ugly scars and the left out marks on the body. Treatment for keloids is very simple yet impelling. Moisturizer provides the skin with moisture and increases its flexibility and the same thing can be done with keloids. Massaging the keloids with a moisturizer helps in decreasing the pinkish colour. Wearing cotton quality clothes with full sleeves helps in reducing it. Also to note that never go in for a keloid surgery as it may be capricious. Silicon films have also been proved useful to cure keloids.
